Summary

Official Details
In 2010, the Holy Empire of Britannia launched a devastating military campaign against Japan, forcing the nation’s surrender in under a month. Stripped of its sovereignty and identity, the country was redesignated as Area 11, with its citizens relegated to the subjugated status of Elevens. Amidst this oppressive regime, Lelouch, a Britannian student, harbors a childhood vow to dismantle his own government, though years of apparent futility have led him to resign himself to the status quo. His resigned existence is shattered when an encounter with a mysterious girl grants him the Geass, a supernatural ability to command absolute obedience from others. Armed with this formidable power, Lelouch adopts the masked persona of Zero, emerging as a ruthless revolutionary leader determined to obliterate any obstacle in his path toward liberation. His rebellion inevitably places him in direct opposition to Suzaku, his childhood friend and an Eleven who has attained the rare rank of Honorary Britannian. This tragic conflict forces Lelouch to navigate a brutal war where personal bonds are sacrificed for ideological victory, pitting two former companions against each other in a struggle that will define the fate of Area 11 and challenge the very foundations of Britannian authority.
