Neo Devilman

Neo Devilman is an anthology series set within the expansive universe of Go Nagai’s original manga, featuring a diverse collection of narratives illustrated by various acclaimed artists. The volumes present a mixture of stories that directly expand upon Devilman’s established mythology alongside independent tales occurring concurrently with the main timeline but focusing on entirely separate characters and events. This unique structure offers readers both canonical additions to the lore and distinct side stories that enrich the broader world without requiring direct involvement from the titular protagonist, all enhanced by full-color illustrations strategically placed throughout each volume. The anthology showcases exceptional artistic and narrative talent across three volumes, each curated with contributions from distinguished creators. Volume one features works by Lazy Hagawari, Tatsuya Egawa, Katsuya Terada, Ken Ishikawa, Go Nagai, and Shinichi Hiromoto, while volume two includes stories by Hitoshi Iwaaki, Noriko Nagano, Go Nagai, Akihiko Takadera, and Kazuko Yumeno. The third volume continues this tradition of excellence with contributions from Noburu Miyama, Miki Toro, Shinobu Kaze, Sho-u Tajima, Masaomi Kanzaki, Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, and Iou Kuroda, resulting in a comprehensive collection celebrated for its remarkable artwork and compelling storytelling.
