Himawari Youchien Monogatari: Aiko desho!

Hanatori Suimei is a ronin—a student who has failed his initial university entrance exams and is determined to try again. To prepare for his next attempt, he relocates to his aunt's residence, seeking a quiet environment where he can focus entirely on his studies. However, he quickly discovers that his new home is far from the peaceful retreat he envisioned. His aunt operates a bustling kindergarten on the property, meaning Suimei must navigate his rigorous academic preparations amid the lively and chaotic daily routine of young children. Despite the unexpected setting, Suimei soon finds himself drawn into the vibrant world of the kindergarten. He meets Aiko, an eight-year-old girl whose presence leaves a distinct impression on him, as well as Haru, one of the dedicated teachers working at the school. Surrounded by these individuals and the many other children who fill the halls with energy, Suimei's solitary study period transforms into something much more complex. As he balances the heavy pressures of his upcoming exams with his growing attachments to those around him, the story explores how his evolving relationships with both Aiko and Haru will ultimately shape his time at the kindergarten.
