Sensei, Anata ni Chikadukitai

Takamine has finally achieved his lifelong ambition, securing a position as a high school teacher. However, this career milestone is deeply intertwined with his personal desires, as the school is also the workplace of Natsume, the person he has long admired from afar. For Takamine, earning this role means far more than simply entering the education profession; it represents a long-awaited opportunity to stand beside his crush in a completely new capacity. The dynamic between them is poised to shift dramatically. Rather than navigating the complicated boundaries of a teacher and student relationship, they will now interact as equals—colleagues sharing the same hallways, staff rooms, and responsibilities. This transition from an unspoken distance to professional proximity offers Takamine the chance to grow closer to Natsume than ever before, turning a distant admiration into a daily reality. Yet, beneath this seemingly earnest career achievement lies a lingering question about Takamine’s true intentions. Did he genuinely pursue teaching out of a passion for education, or was his entire path orchestrated solely to close the distance between himself and Natsume? As the two begin their new lives together as fellow educators, the underlying motives behind Takamine's dream job threaten to complicate their blossoming proximity.
