Umeya-kun no Haru

Umeya and Sakura first cross paths during the cherry blossom season, a chance encounter that sets the stage for an unexpected dynamic between them. Sakura is naturally shy, yet his reactions to everyday situations are consistently fresh and genuinely amusing. Captivated by this endearing quality, Umeya finds himself drawn to the other boy, ultimately falling into a familiar habit of teasing him just to witness those entertaining responses. What begins as playful provocation gradually becomes a constant fixture in their interactions, blurring the lines between simple amusement and something far more personal. The delicate balance of their relationship shifts dramatically one evening when alcohol lowers Umeya's inhibitions. In a sudden, drunken moment, he forces a kiss upon Sakura, crossing a boundary neither of them anticipated. This impulsive act leaves Umeya grappling with a confusing internal conflict. He attempts to rationalize the kiss as nothing more than another attempt to tease his companion, yet his racing heartbeat tells a different story. As he questions why his heart pounds so fiercely whenever he thinks of Sakura, Umeya must confront the unsettling possibility that his relentless teasing was never just a game, but the beginning of genuine romantic feelings he is only now starting to understand.
