Raijin to Ryman

Trapped in the monotonous grind of corporate life, a weary salaryman finds his days drained of color by a quiet, unspoken heartache. He harbors deep feelings for a male coworker who is entirely straight, leaving him to navigate a painful reality where his affection can never be returned. Resigned to this emotional burden, he drifts through his bleak routine, finding no comfort or escape from the weight of his unfulfilled longing. Everything changes on an otherwise ordinary evening when he returns to his apartment, only to discover an impossible sight: a mysterious man perched casually atop a floating cloud inside his home. This otherworldly intruder is no mere illusion, but a thunder god with a startling and bewildering demand—he insists that the exhausted office worker must somehow make him human. Thrust abruptly into a bizarre new reality, the salaryman’s dreary existence is turned completely upside down. What follows is the unlikely beginning of their shared daily life, as a lovelorn corporate employee and a demanding deity of thunder are forced to navigate an extraordinary coexistence together.
