Years ago, a young Luca committed an unthinkable act to protect the person he loved most. Now finally released on parole, he carries a single, desperate hope: to reunite with Christ and build the quiet life they were once denied. However, reality proves far crueler than Luca imagined. Upon seeking out his former lover, he discovers that Christ has already moved on, sharing his home with a brash young man named Jimmie. Introduced merely as a "relative," Jimmie occupies the space Luca once held, leaving the newly freed parolee feeling like a complete outsider in the life he sacrificed everything to preserve. Treated with distance rather than devotion, Luca is forced to navigate a tense domestic dynamic where he no longer belongs. The volatile personalities of everyone involved create an environment thick with resentment, jealousy, and unresolved trauma.
