Regas

In every generation, a single member of the royal bloodline is born carrying the ancient essence of dragons. This extraordinary blessing grants the chosen heir immense, legendary power, but it comes at a devastating cost. The dragon's blood also infuses them with an inherent cruelty and volatile rage, threatening to consume their humanity entirely. To prevent this catastrophic descent into madness, the kingdom relies on a specialized guardian known as a Regas—a master tamer uniquely trained to soothe and subdue the violent impulses of the blessed royal. Abel has dedicated his life to mastering the demanding discipline required of a Regas, preparing himself for the heavy burden of stabilizing the crown's most dangerous secret. His ultimate trial arrives when he is assigned to the newest prince to inherit the dragon's blessing. As the young royal struggles against the overwhelming tide of draconic fury threatening to shatter his mind, Abel must put all his training to the test. Standing between the kingdom and ruin, he faces a harrowing question: does he possess the strength to endure and tame the terrifying lunacy of his prince?
