Jiraishin Diablo

The case files maintained by detectives at the Shinjuku Police Station offer a grim, unflinching portrait of humanity at its most depraved. Within these records lies the dark underbelly of everyday existence, documenting the atrocities committed by individuals shaped entirely by their suffering. In this unforgiving urban landscape, abused children mature into deeply damaged adults, while traumatized victims frequently resort to violence as their only means of retribution. The boundary separating the wronged from the wicked is constantly shifting, revealing that even the most monstrous offenders are often the very people society abandoned long ago. Navigating this bleak reality requires a hardened resolve, yet time eventually claims everyone. Former detective Kyoya Iida has spent years drifting in the aftermath of his career, left behind as the world continued its relentless march forward. However, the shadows of Shinjuku refuse to stay buried, and the cycle of trauma and vengeance demands intervention once more. Forced out of his quiet obscurity by circumstances he can no longer ignore, Iida finds himself compelled to take up his weapon again. Stepping back into a fractured world where salvation came too late for so many, he must confront the devastating consequences of a society that failed its most vulnerable.
