Fushigi na Shounen

Saburou Oonishi, an ordinary neighborhood boy affectionately known as "Sabutan," finds himself at odds with the local mischievous youth collective, the Anpaka Gang. When he refuses their pressure to assume leadership, he faces a harsh disciplinary trial: walking alone through a dark, unfinished local underpass notorious for unexplained phenomena. While navigating the subterranean passageway, Sabutan is inexplicably drawn into a missing section of the tiled wall, slipping through into a bizarre four-dimensional realm. Inside this vast, mysterious space, he encounters a strange entity resembling a doll. Upon receiving the extraordinary ability to halt time from this otherworldly being, Sabutan manages to return to his own reality. Armed with the power to freeze the entire world simply by shouting "Time, be still!"—while remaining entirely mobile himself—Sabutan easily evades mortal dangers such as speeding trains and live ammunition. However, the acquisition of this formidable gift inevitably pulls him deeper into a sequence of increasingly complex and enigmatic events.
