In a world turned upside down, the insects of Earth have risen against humanity in a coordinated and devastating revolt. To ensure their supremacy, the insect overlords have subjected the human race to a terrifying fate, shrinking them down to a minuscule scale where they are rendered virtually indistinguishable from the very bugs that now command the world. Stripped of their former stature and forced into an unfamiliar hierarchy, the remnants of humanity have been transformed into a new race known as the Microids. Once the masters of the Earth, they now navigate a perilous environment where every blade of grass towers like a forest and every predator is magnified to monstrous proportions. As they struggle to survive under the oppressive rule of their insect conquerors, the Microids must confront a profound existential dilemma.
