Driven by a desire to uncover his origins, Sharaku embarks on a global quest to investigate the enigmatic ruins left behind by an ancient, long-lost civilization known as the Three-Eyed Ones. Accompanied by Chiyoko Wato, his journey spans diverse and remote locations, including Arizona, Easter Island, and Mexico. Along the way, Sharaku deciphers ancient scriptures and relies on ingenious gadgets of his own invention—devices that frequently help him solve mysteries, though they occasionally create new problems entirely. Despite his extraordinary intellect, Sharaku endures constant bullying due to his outwardly childish demeanor. However, this meek facade masks a dangerous secret concealed beneath an x-shaped bandage affixed to his forehead. When this covering is removed, his hidden third eye is exposed, unleashing a malicious and brilliant alter ego. Freed from its restraint, Sharaku’s dormant evil genius takes control, transforming him into a formidable force who fiercely retaliates against those who torment him. These intense personal conflicts often escalate beyond simple schoolyard disputes, with rivalries against both teachers and fellow students evolving into major narrative arcs that drive the story forward.
