Petals of Reincarnation

Touya Senji is a young man defined by his lack of natural ability. Despite his relentless efforts and willingness to try absolutely everything, he consistently fails to excel in any endeavor. His frustrating existence takes an unexpected turn when he crosses paths with Haito, a highly skilled Kendo champion who carries a far greater burden than athletic competition. She serves as a dedicated protector of humanity, standing against threats that ordinary people could never comprehend. Haito possesses a remarkable and harrowing power known as the Stem of Reincarnation. This unique ability allows her to channel the skills and strengths of her previous lives, granting her extraordinary combat prowess. However, activating this formidable gift comes at a severe cost: it only functions when she slits her own throat, transforming self-sacrifice into a literal weapon. Now fully aware of Touya's existence, Haito approaches him with an astonishing proposition. She wants the seemingly untalented boy to join her dangerous crusade, forcing Touya to confront whether someone who has never s쳮ded at anything can truly rise to defend humanity alongside a warrior willing to bleed for her power.
