Elegy for the Henchmen: Fist of the North Star

In the desolate aftermath of a global catastrophe, civilization has crumbled into lawless wastelands where survival is the only currency that matters. Amidst this unforgiving landscape, a young man named Nobu navigates the ruins with a singular, desperate goal: finding legitimate work to sustain himself. The post-apocalyptic world offers few opportunities for honest labor, leaving ordinary people vulnerable to exploitation by those who have seized power through violence and fear. Nobu’s search for employment takes a disastrous turn when he falls victim to a calculated deception. Rather than securing a means of survival, he finds himself unwillingly conscripted into the ranks of Raoh's Army, a formidable military force commanded by one of the wasteland's most feared conquerors. Stripped of his freedom and thrust into a brutal hierarchy, Nobu must now contend with the grim reality of serving under a tyrant. What began as a simple quest for a job transforms into a harrowing struggle for survival, forcing the young man to navigate the dangers of a ruthless army while trapped in a world where defiance often means death.
