Wan Wan Train Doko e Iku?

Wan Wan Train Doko e Iku? is a short-form original net animation serving as a special companion piece to the television series Shuumatsu Train Doko e Iku?. Distributed exclusively through the KADOKAWA Anime YouTube channel, this mini anime offers a playful and imaginative detour from the main storyline. It reunites the familiar cast of characters—Shizuru, Nadeshiko, Remi, and Akira—but places them in a bizarre and unprecedented situation driven by the mysterious influence of the enigmatic 7G phenomenon. In this surreal short, the effects of 7G manifest in an entirely unexpected way, causing all four girls to undergo a startling transformation into a "Wan Wan Train." Stripped of their usual forms and thrust into this peculiar new existence, the group must navigate the immediate challenges of their altered state. The central conflict shifts from their typical adventures to a much more intimate test of cooperation, as they are forced to function together within a single, unconventional framework. With their bodies and circumstances so drastically changed, the primary question becomes whether Shizuru, Nadeshiko, Remi, and Akira can maintain harmony. As they attempt to move forward in their transformed state, the story explores whether the bonds between them are strong enough to keep everyone getting along despite the absurdity of their new reality.
