Samsam's House

Reeling from the emotional fallout of a recent divorce, Seung-Gyu finds his solitary life unexpectedly interrupted when he discovers a vulnerable human-animal hybrid lingering outside his home. Unable to turn away from the creature's quiet desperation, and recognizing a familiar loneliness in its eyes, he makes the compassionate decision to take him in. Seeking to provide a stable and caring environment, Seung-Gyu gives his new companion the name Samsam, determined to look after him properly as they navigate the unfamiliar territory of shared living. What begins as a gentle, tentative arrangement gradually transforms as the two settle into a daily rhythm together. Bound by their mutual isolation, Seung-Gyu and Samsam find solace in each other's presence, slowly breaking down the walls built by past hardships. As days turn into weeks, the quiet comfort of their cohabitation deepens, evolving far beyond simple caretaking into a profound and intimate bond that neither of them anticipated.
