Drowning Sorrows in Raging Fire

In the modern era, humanity is no longer entirely uniform. A small fraction of the population possesses extraordinary skills and powers far beyond the limits of ordinary people. Known as "Special Abilities," these individuals represent a hidden divergence from normal human potential, carrying strengths that can either benefit society or threaten its very foundations. To prevent chaos and ensure public safety, an autonomous regulatory body known as the Deviant Control Office was established. This organization operates independently to monitor and manage those who wield such exceptional talents, maintaining a fragile balance between the empowered and the ordinary. Their primary mission is to keep the Special Abilities in check, ensuring that their unique gifts do not disrupt the established order of the world. However, this delicate equilibrium is constantly under threat. While some individuals are dedicated to preserving peace and upholding the rules set by the Deviant Control Office, others harbor far more dangerous ambitions. Driven by greed and a desire for dominance, certain Special Abilities seek to exploit their extraordinary powers for personal gain, aiming to seize greater control and reshape the world according to their own ruthless designs.
