The Defective

Set in a futuristic dystopia where society is entirely governed by advanced mind-link technology known as Eden, The Defective explores a world defined by rigid technological conformity. In this highly controlled environment, one out of every hundred individuals lacks the ability to interface with the Eden network. Rather than being accommodated, these people are branded as "defective" and cast out, forced to live as marginalized outcasts in a system that views their natural limitations as an unforgivable flaw. Against this oppressive backdrop, two vastly different men—Lu Bixing and Lin Jingheng—find their lives unexpectedly intertwined. Despite their contrasting backgrounds and personalities, both are drawn into the harsh realities of a civilization that punishes those who cannot assimilate into its digital framework. As the injustices of the Eden-controlled society become impossible to ignore, the two men forge a crucial alliance. Together, they resolve to challenge the very foundations of their unjust world, uniting their strengths to fight back against a dystopian order that has long discarded anyone deemed imperfect.
