The Night Beyond the Tricornered Window

Mikado, an unassuming bookstore employee, has spent his entire life burdened by a deeply unsettling ability: he can see terrifying supernatural phenomena that remain invisible to everyone else. To preserve his sanity and maintain a sense of normalcy, he learned long ago to simply ignore the disturbing visions haunting his daily routine. However, his carefully constructed facade shatters following a fateful encounter with Hiyakawa, a professional exorcist who recognizes Mikado’s unique sight. Suddenly thrust into a world he desperately tried to avoid, Mikado finds himself coerced into assisting Hiyakawa with his paranormal investigations and exorcism duties. Complicating matters further is a deeply embarrassing revelation—whenever they join forces to banish malevolent spirits, the shared experience evokes an unexpectedly intense and pleasurable sensation for Mikado. Bound together by this strange dynamic, the reluctant duo becomes entangled in a relentless cycle of supernatural cases. Yet their daily encounters with the occult soon take a much darker turn when they stumble upon a brutal, cold-blooded murder mystery, forcing them to navigate dangers that threaten both the living and the dead.
