Pukkulapottas and Hours in the Forest

During the spring of a year when normal life ground to a halt across the globe, people everywhere were forced to remain indoors. Choosing to stop commuting into the city, the narrator stayed home every day. It was during this period of worldwide stillness that they discovered mysterious traces left behind in their garden. Driven by curiosity, they set up a camera to uncover the source of the disturbance. The footage revealed an astonishing sight: a tiny creature, standing only about fifteen centimeters tall. The narrator named this diminutive being Pukkulapottas and soon became entirely absorbed in the search for it, dedicating their isolated days to observing the mysterious visitor. However, as society gradually began to return to its usual rhythms, Pukkulapottas vanished from sight. No matter how hard the narrator looked, the tiny creature could no longer be found. This sudden disappearance left a profound impression, prompting deep philosophical reflection on the nature of reality itself. Through the brief, extraordinary experience with Pukkulapottas, the narrator was left to wonder whether what humanity can see truly encompasses all there is to the truth.
