Earwig and the Witch

Life at St. Morwald's Home for Children is far from ideal for most orphans, yet Earwig thrives there. Ever since she was left on the orphanage steps as an infant, she has effortlessly manipulated her surroundings to get exactly what she desires, precisely when she wants it. Her comfortable reign, however, comes to an abrupt halt when two peculiar individuals named Bella Yaga and the Mandrake arrive at the institution posing as prospective foster parents. Earwig is swiftly taken to their enigmatic residence, a sprawling house brimming with hidden chambers, bubbling potions, and dusty spell books where magic lurks in every shadow. While such a supernatural environment would send most children fleeing in absolute terror, Earwig remains entirely unfazed. Refusing to be intimidated by her new guardians, she resolves to turn the tables on the resident witch. Armed with her sharp intellect and aided by an unlikely ally—a remarkably talkative cat—Earwig sets out to prove that she is the true master of the household.
