Labelled as the kingdom’s most incompetent court magician, Leon has long masked his true capabilities while enduring a reputation for frequent absences and perceived uselessness. However, his quiet existence is abruptly upended when his persistent absenteeism finally catches up with him, resulting in his immediate reassignment to the brutal front lines of the battlefield. Thrust into active combat, Leon is forced to abandon his facade. Utilizing the brilliant tactical intellect and quick wits he had carefully kept hidden, he successfully rescues Sicily, the kingdom's Third Princess. This pivotal encounter binds his fate to a visionary royal determined to enact meaningful reform. Steeling his resolve alongside the reformer princess, Leon steps out from the sidelines. Rather than seeking open glory, he embraces the role of a specialized officer, determined to orchestrate vital victories and control critical events entirely from the shadows.
