Adachi and Shimamura

Adachi navigates her school days by habitually skipping class, preferring solitude to the structured routine of the classroom. Her isolated existence shifts when she encounters Shimamura, a fellow student who shares her tendency for truancy. What begins as a chance meeting between two classmates with little interest in attending lessons quickly evolves into a genuine bond. The pair become fast friends, finding unexpected comfort in each other's company during the hours they spend away from their peers. As they continue cutting class together, their shared escapades deepen the connection between them, transforming casual companionship into something far more significant. However, this growing closeness soon gives rise to emotions neither girl anticipated. Feelings that extend beyond ordinary friendship begin to blossom, leaving both Adachi and Shimamura grappling with an unfamiliar internal landscape. Awkwardness and confusion inevitably settle in as they attempt to process these shifting dynamics. Without a clear guide or past experience to rely upon, the two girls find themselves navigating a vast, uncharted sea of emotion. As they slowly learn to understand one another’s true feelings, they must confront the vulnerability of their evolving relationship and discover what their deepening attachment truly means.
