Kingdom Season 3

In the aftermath of the decisive Sanyou campaign, the Qin army advances steadily toward King Ying Zheng’s ultimate ambition: the unification of all China. Among the ranks is Xin, now commanding a unit of one thousand soldiers, as Qin consolidates its hard-won territorial foothold in the state of Wei and turns its gaze eastward toward the remaining rival nations. Yet while Qin prepares for further conquest, Li Mu—the brilliant strategist recently elevated to prime minister of Zhao—has been orchestrating a far more dangerous design. Exploiting a temporary truce between Zhao and Qin, he has quietly conducted uninterrupted negotiations with the other warring states. The true nature of Li Mu’s diplomacy is revealed without warning when word reaches Ying Zheng that the combined forces of Chu, Zhao, Wei, Han, Yan, and Qi have already breached Qin’s borders. Recognizing too late that the truce was merely a smokescreen for this unprecedented alliance, the king urgently convenes his advisors to formulate a defense against the massive coalition army now threatening their homeland. For the first time in its history, Qin stands on the precipice of total annihilation. To survive, the kingdom must marshal every available resource and strategic mind to prevent itself from being erased from the map entirely.
