The Voices That Call Me

Isolated from the outside world, a young man lives as a hikikomori, entirely withdrawn from society and confined to the boundaries of his own room. His solitary existence is abruptly disrupted when he begins to hear mysterious voices that only he can perceive. These unexplained sounds pierce through his self-imposed isolation, demanding his attention and refusing to be ignored. Compelled by the persistent whispers, he is drawn out of his seclusion for the first time in what may be years. The voices guide him on an unexpected journey away from his familiar sanctuary, ultimately leading him directly to the apartment of a young girl. This sudden encounter shatters his carefully constructed walls of solitude, forcing him into an unfamiliar situation with someone whose connection to the haunting calls remains unknown. What begins as a psychological struggle within the confines of his own mind quickly transforms into a compelling mystery, tethering the fate of a reclusive shut-in to a stranger's doorstep.
