The Prisoner's Code

The central narrative follows a female military officer and her subordinate who find themselves captured during wartime. Stripped of their ranks and freedom, the two must navigate the harsh realities of being prisoners of war while struggling to maintain their bond and discipline under enemy control. This collection also features several distinct short stories exploring varied themes and dynamics. Among them are tales revolving around lavish hospitality, the demanding duties of a butler, unconventional methods of learning English conversation, and the life of a fiercely determined woman who always charges headlong into every challenge she faces.
