Arisa²: Arisa no Jijou

Morisaki Shinichiro has long been haunted by a childhood memory of a promise made to a girl just before she moved away. Awakened from this recurring dream by his sister, he heads to school only to encounter a strange twist of fate. On his way, a girl trips and collapses directly onto him, prompting him to carry her to the nurse’s office. Shortly after arriving in class, another girl bursts through the door loudly calling out his name. Bearing a striking resemblance to the unconscious student he helped earlier, this boisterous newcomer is quickly knocked out by the class leader for causing a disruption. When Shinichiro carries her to the nurse’s office as well, he discovers both girls have regained consciousness. The two are formally introduced as Sawatari Arisa and Sawatari Alyssa. Although their names sound identical when spoken aloud, they appear to share no familial connection. Shinichiro struggles to determine which of them is the girl from his past; Arisa is timid and reserved, yet Alyssa wears the distinctive cat ears he remembers and openly recognizes him. His confusion deepens upon returning home, where he learns that his uncle, with whom he lives, has unexpectedly taken both mysterious girls into their household.
