The Elite Alpha Becomes a Melting Omega

In the neon-lit streets of Kabukicho, a dangerously addictive narcotic known as "Burst" has begun to spread. This illicit substance is capable of artificially inducing heat in Omegas, plunging its victims into uncontrollable physical distress. Kyouji, an elite Alpha detective spearheading the investigation into the drug's distribution, pays a substantial sum to a prominent local influencer to secure a reliable lead. The contact who arrives at their arranged meeting is Taiga—a popular online streamer, former top-ranked host, and a fellow Alpha. The two share a complicated history; years ago, Kyouji took in a young Taiga and allowed him to live under his roof, but for reasons that remain unclear, they lost all contact long ago. Kyouji wastes no time, asking Taiga to serve as his informant to help track down the source of Burst. Taiga agrees without hesitation, easing the detective's concerns. Relieved by the reunion, Kyouji accepts a cup of coffee offered by his old acquaintance and takes a sip—only to be suddenly overwhelmed by an intense, inexplicable Omega heat. Now trapped in a body betraying his Alpha nature, Kyouji must find a way to endure the relentless fever while still pursuing the criminal mastermind behind the drug.
