Akane is a captivating young woman who leads a double life. Raised as a princess of the Dainagon family, she formed a close bond in childhood with Aogi. As he grew older, however, he joined the Imperial Palace’s Inner Guards, effectively disappearing from public life. Unable to endure their prolonged separation, Akane adopts a second identity as a palace servant in hopes of finding him again. Yet gaining access to the imperial grounds does not bring her any closer to Aogi, and the two are soon compelled to defy strict protocol to achieve the reunion they both desperately desire.
