Aliens are a known reality—something even a child understands—and the world is safeguarded by a select group of extraterrestrials wielding special powers. Daichi lives in this world, having fully recovered from severe burns he suffered five years ago to resume a peaceful life. However, a chance encounter with one of these aliens subtly shifts his daily routine when he is forcibly appointed as an examiner for the next generation's protector trial. Complicating matters further, three girls transfer to his school to participate in the examination, one of whom is his childhood friend. Unbeknownst to him, these events are merely the prelude to a monumental turning point that will fundamentally alter his future.
