Set in a near-future world where humans and robots coexist, children are captivated by Robattles, competitive matches featuring robotic partners known as Medarots. Each Medarot’s consciousness resides within a removable Medal that serves as its core intelligence and can be transferred between bodies. When nine-year-old Ikki unexpectedly discovers a Rare Medal, he gains a Medarot companion named Metabee. Together, they embark on a journey of friendship and personal growth, relying on wisdom and courage to overcome numerous adversaries in the arena.
