Nintama Rantarou

Rantarou, Shinbei, and Kirimaru are novice students at the Ninja Gakuen, where first-year apprentices are known as "Nintamas," a portmanteau of "ninja" and "tama" (egg). Although they are expected to master the essential skills of ninjutsu, the trio is frequently more preoccupied with money, food, and play. The series chronicles their daily escapades in a segmented cartoon format, typically presenting two short episodes within a thirty-minute broadcast. The ensemble cast features instructors such as Doi-sensei and the cross-dressing Yamada-sensei, female ninja classmates, the antagonistic Dokutake ninjas, and various family members of the main characters.
