Rumbling Hearts

Takayuki Narumi is befriended by Mitsuki Hayase, despite her initial interest in him being a means to be closer to her best friend Haruka Suzumiya, who has a crush on him. Over time, Takayuki, his friend Shinji Taira, and Mitsuki form a close bond. Haruka eventually confesses her love to Takayuki, who, not wanting to hurt her, begins a relationship with her. However, as their relationship deepens, Takayuki and Mitsuki develop romantic feelings for each other. The dynamics of their relationships are irreparably altered when tragedy strikes.
