Outrageous! I started as the Elf King

"Child, you are a pure-blooded Sun Elf, fated to become a great elven king and restore our empire to its former glory!" Amid the ruins of the fallen Elven Empire, an ancient, dying tree spoke these words to Lin Yi. Lin Yi replied, "I have no desire to be a king of any sort—it sounds far too exhausting." "This is your inescapable destiny," the ancient tree pressed on. "Just as you are destined to wed the Elf Queen, you..." "I'll be the Elf King!" Lin Yi cut in. The ancient tree asked, "Aren't you worried about getting tired?" Lin Yi replied, "It has nothing to do with being tired—it's simply that I'm devoted to the cause!"
