Comic Girls

Comic Girls centers on the everyday lives of a group of young, up-and-coming manga artists who share a common roof in an all-female dormitory. Each of these aspiring creators is striving to establish herself in the highly competitive world of professional manga, and the dormitory serves as both a haven and a training ground where the residents can devote themselves fully to their craft. Set against the backdrop of their shared household, the story follows the girls as they navigate the rhythms of daily life—working on manuscripts, refining their artistic skills, and chasing their ambitions—while drawing strength from the friendships that blossom among them. Surrounded by peers who understand the same hopes and hardships, each resident finds in the dormitory a supportive community where dreams are nurtured and creative challenges are faced together. Through these ordinary yet meaningful moments of communal living, the series paints a warm portrait of young artists growing both in their careers and in their bonds with one another.
