Worst Gaiden Guriko

Before Hanaki Guriko reluctantly rose to supreme dominance over Toarushi, his story began in Fukuoka. This manga explores the middle-school chapter of his life, a time when he was already forging a reputation through raw strength and an unrelenting presence. Far from the throne he would later accept with reluctance, Guriko lived in Fukuoka, where his days were defined by conflict and the harsh reality of youthful battles. The narrative focuses on his middle-school years there, tracing how he fought his way through confrontation after confrontation. It is a chronicle of combat and reputation, showing the young Guriko as he defeated opponents and left a lasting impression on everyone around him. This is not the story of the reluctant ruler of Toarushi, but of the fierce fighter he was before that reign began. In this earlier setting, Guriko’s path is shaped by the need to stand above others. The manga captures the intensity of his middle-school life in Fukuoka, where taking names and crushing resistance were part of his daily existence. It stands as a portrait of the man who would one day hold supreme power over Toarushi—yet only after making his mark far from it.
