Katainaka no Ossan, Kensei ni Naru Gaiden - Hajimari no Mahou Kenshi

Nestled deep within the untamed hinterlands of Liberia, far from the bustle of civilization, stands the secluded dojo of Beryl Gardinant—a swordmaster whose legendary prowess draws aspirants from across the land, yet whose home remains shrouded in quiet isolation. It is into this remote sanctuary that young Fichelle Harbeller arrives, her heart blazing with an ambition that borders on obsession. From her very first step onto the worn practice grounds, her unyielding focus distinguishes her from the other disciples. While they labor under the weight of routine drills, Fichelle attacks each technique with a ferocious intensity, her blade singing through the air with a speed and precision that soon leaves her peers struggling to keep pace. Day by day, she carves her name into the dojo's hierarchy, her relentless spirit propelling her far ahead of those who began alongside her. But the crucible of rigorous training holds more than just the refinement of steel. In the heat of her grueling regimen, a dormant gift stirs beneath the surface of her consciousness—an awakening of magical talent that she never knew she possessed. This sudden revelation of arcane power adds a breathtaking new dimension to her development, forcing her to confront a question few warriors ever face: how does one reconcile the disciplined path of the sword with the chaotic, untamed force of sorcery? As Fichelle grapples with the weight of this dual inheritance, she realizes that her journey in this forgotten corner of the world is no longer merely about mastering a single art. It is about forging a new synthesis of might and magic, a path that could either elevate her to unprecedented heights or shatter her beneath the strain of two impossible ambitions.
