Eden of Witches

Once, all the world's creatures lived in harmony—until humanity rose to power. Fearing for their lives, the flora and fauna fled into hiding, leaving behind a barren world of rock and dust. Yet in secret corners of this desolate land, life flourishes: witches, extraordinary women with the gift of hearing plants' voices, tend hidden sanctuaries overflowing with vibrant greenery. In one such refuge, the powerful witch Tula, nearing the end of her life, has raised her apprentice, Piri. But Piri has much to learn—she cannot hear the plants' voices at all. Content to stay hidden, she longs to remain in her secret haven forever, never far from Tula's side. Fate, however, has other plans. Circumstances beyond her control tear Piri from the only home she has ever known and cast her out into the world outside. Alone in a land without green, where will her path lead? And might a gift from Tula be the key to finding her way?
