Urotsukidoji: Legend of the Overfiend

An ancient prophecy clings to the shadows of the demon realm, foretelling a cataclysmic event that will reshape the very fabric of existence. Every three thousand years, a being of immeasurable and indomitable power—the Overfiend—is destined to be reborn, incarnating into the flesh of an unsuspecting human youth. This apocalyptic harbinger is sought by all factions of the underworld, but none more fervently than the pure-blooded demon clans who wish to control or destroy the god-like entity before it can fully awaken. Into this treacherous hunt steps Amano, a conflicted half-demon who bears the daunting responsibility of locating the Overfiend’s mortal vessel and shielding him from the voracious ambitions of his demonic rivals. Arriving in the human world, Amano finds his mission continually derailed by an unlikely and vexing obstacle: Tatsuo Nagumo, a painfully shy and perpetually flustered teenager whose lecherous inclinations and profound clumsiness seem to attract supernatural chaos like a magnet. As Amano’s future classmate, Tatsuo stumbles headlong into one perilous encounter after another with creatures spawned from the demon realm, forcing the half-demon to constantly intervene and clean up the boy's inadvertent messes. With every diversion, the looming horde of pure-blooded demons draws nearer, their relentless search growing more aggressive by the hour. Amano is trapped in a desperate race against time, acutely aware that the identity of the Overfiend's host remains shrouded in mystery.
