Nami Uraraka ni, Meoto Biyori

Spring arrives with its usual gentle warmth, but for twenty-year-old Natsumi, the season brings an upheaval far beyond cherry blossoms and shifting winds. In a sudden turn of fate, she accepts a marriage proposal from Takimasa Ebata, an officer serving in the Imperial Navy. What begins as an unexpected offer quickly becomes a binding vow, and before she can fully grasp the weight of her decision, Natsumi finds herself stepping into the role of a naval wife—a title as foreign to her as the vast ocean her husband patrols. Swept from the life she knew into the disciplined, uncertain world of a military household, Natsumi must navigate not only the practical demands of running a home but also the delicate, uncharted terrain of married intimacy. Both she and Takimasa are endearingly inexperienced, their new union built less on worldly knowledge than on a shared, almost fragile sincerity. Their days unfold with a quiet, earnest purity, each small gesture and hesitant conversation a step toward understanding one another. Yet beneath the domestic calm lingers the ever-present reality of Takimasa's duty to the sea, a reminder that their time together may be as fleeting as the tide. And whenever the salt-laden breeze drifts through their window, it carries with it the ache of longing—a whispered promise that, no matter the distance, her thoughts will always follow the wind back to him.
