Danmaku: Peering into the World

Jiang Ye is an ordinary maintenance worker for an aging residential community. His greatest wish each day is a modest one—to earn a few hundred yuan more so that his grandmother can afford better medicine. His life revolves around simple routines and small hopes, until one fateful late night changes everything. That night, Jiang Ye scrolls onto a short video with barely a dozen likes. In the footage, a line of danmaku—bullet comments—suddenly drifts out from a derelict alley... comments that only he can see.
