Ninku

Fuusuke is an unusual twelve-year-old boy who commands the wind, serving as a powerful warrior of the Ninku martial arts school—a unique fighting style that blends ninjutsu and karate. Years before the present events, practitioners of Ninku were hunted by a tyrannical empire, prompting the formation of specialized Ninku corps to fight back. These divisions were named after the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac, with each captain earning the title of Etonin, or zodiac Ninku master. When the war finally ended, the surviving Ninku were deemed too dangerous to rule, leading to their near-total extermination. Only a handful of the original captains lived through the purge. Three years after the devastating conflict, Fuusuke—the former captain of the First Ninku Corps—sets out on a journey alongside his flatulent penguin companion, Hiroyuki. Their mission is to track down the remaining Etonin, each of whom possesses mastery over different elemental forces. However, a new faction of Ninku users has emerged from the shadows, harboring ambitions of global domination. To prevent another era of tyranny, Fuusuke and Hiroyuki must reunite their old comrades and confront this rising empire before its dark plans come to fruition.
