Children of the Sea

During her childhood, Ruka witnessed a spectral presence in the water at the aquarium where her father is employed. Years later, she finds herself inexplicably drawn back to that very place, captivated by two enigmatic boys named Umi and Sora. These extraordinary youths were raised by dugongs and share a profound connection with the ocean, hearing the same mysterious calls from the sea that have begun to echo in Ruka's own mind. As the three children grow closer, they become deeply entangled in an unfolding aquatic mystery. Marine life across the globe has begun vanishing, with the oceans' fish disappearing under inexplicable circumstances. While Ruka's father and the other adults working at the aquarium remain only vaguely aware of the strange phenomena surrounding the youths, the children are pulled further into the heart of the anomaly. Bound together by their shared experiences and the haunting voices of the deep, they must navigate a phenomenon that transcends ordinary understanding, bridging the gap between the human world and the vast, unknowable mysteries of the sea.
