Enma

In Hades, the realm where departed souls are processed, a select group of individuals known as Enma possess the authority to judge the lost. These arbiters determine whether a soul ascends to heaven or descends into hell, wielding unique weapons called Judgements to enforce their verdicts. When a malevolent spirit disrupts the order of the underworld, a man named Kouichiro inadvertently reveals his latent abilities as an Enma. This unexpected display earns him a formal recommendation letter to sit for the Enma examination, making him the first candidate in twenty years to receive such an honor. However, securing a place in the trials is only the beginning of Kouichiro’s challenges. He is paired with Chizuru, a partner widely feared and rumored to be the demon of the intelligence department. Together, they barely scrape through the grueling written portion of the test. Now, with the practical examination looming directly ahead, Kouichiro must rely on his newly awakened powers and his intimidating ally. As he stands on the precipice of this final trial, his ultimate fate in the underworld remains entirely uncertain.
