Café Kichijoji de

"Irasshai!" Welcome to the most chaotic café in Kichijoji, where a charming yet utterly mismatched staff of five attempts to run a business together. Sharing absolutely nothing in common, these employees constantly find themselves embroiled in explosive disputes. Whenever tempers flare, the collateral damage escalates rapidly from flying mop handles and giant boulders to mounting repair bills that threaten the establishment's survival. The unruly crew features Jun, a seemingly mild-mannered high school student who conceals a razor-sharp tongue and superhuman strength. He works alongside Tarou, an obsessive neat freak whose mopping skills double as a deadly weapon with flawless aim. Maki rounds out the floor staff as a sloppy, lazy womanizer, while the kitchen is commanded by Minagawa, a talented pastry chef who proves equally adept at the dark arts of voodoo. Tying this dysfunctional group together is Tokumi, an impulsive and cheerful soul cursed with desperately unfortunate luck. Originally adapted from a popular Japanese radio drama, this comedic feast thrives on the sheer absurdity of its characters' daily clashes. The series proved enduring enough to receive a rehashed version released in 2009, continuing its legacy of uproarious workplace chaos.
