WHITE NOTEPAD

One year ago, seventeen-year-old high school student Hana Odamaki and thirty-eight-year-old auto factory worker Shogo Kine experienced an inexplicable phenomenon: their bodies and minds suddenly swapped. Forced to navigate entirely foreign lives, the two spent twelve months adapting to circumstances neither could have ever anticipated. Now, a chance encounter brings them face-to-face once again, but the individuals standing before each other are drastically changed from who they used to be. During their time apart, Shogo fully embraced his new reality as a teenage girl, refining her outward femininity to the point of launching a career as an amateur model. Conversely, Hana struggled immensely within the body of a middle-aged man. Her sudden confusion was misdiagnosed as amnesia, ultimately costing her any stable employment and leaving her adrift in a life she never chose. Though the pair has finally reunited with their original physical forms, the emotional distance between them is vast. Having lived so long in each other's shoes, they can barely recognize the people they once were. As they confront the strangers wearing their own faces, both must grapple with a profound dilemma: how do you reclaim an identity that no longer feels like your own?
