Summary

Official Details

Renowned master of Japanese horror manga Junji Ito steps away from the macabre to present a delightfully comedic series chronicling his real-life experiences as a first-time cat owner. In this autobiographical tale, Ito appears as "J-kun," a man who has recently built a new home and invited his fiancée, A-ko, to move in with him. However, he is entirely unprepared for the unexpected companions she brings along: Yon, a family cat with a rather ghastly appearance, and Mu, an adorable Norwegian Forest cat. Despite being a self-proclaimed dog person, J-kun quickly finds himself charmed by the peculiar cuteness of his new feline housemates. The story follows his humorous daily struggles and earnest attempts to win their affection, navigating the unpredictable trials and tribulations of living with cats. Blending Ito's signature artistic style with lighthearted, pun-filled observations, this heartwarming diary offers a unique and entertaining glimpse into the softer side of one of horror's most celebrated creators.
