Suspected of Mutual Love

Akihito Kuze was once known for his radiant, infectious smile that seemed to light up any room. However, ever since he moved into his family's sprawling manor, that warmth has completely vanished from his face. Compounding the mystery of his sudden change in demeanor, suspicious men have been spotted coming and going from the estate under the cover of darkness every single night. Determined to uncover the truth and put a stop to any illicit activities taking place on the property, Gotaro Sumeragi—a handsome young patrol officer—is assigned to investigate the residence. To ensure the mission's success, Gotaro's cunning superior officer devises an unconventional plan: moving the young officer directly into the Kuze Manor itself. By placing him right inside the proverbial wolf's den, the department hopes Gotaro can keep a close watch on the unfolding secrets. Now living just one room away from his primary subject, Gotaro finds himself navigating an unexpectedly delicate situation. While physical proximity should theoretically make his investigation easier, sharing a roof with Akihito threatens to blur professional boundaries and complicate matters far beyond his initial orders. Amidst the shadows and hidden agendas of the manor, Gotaro is left to wonder if he will ever witness the return of Akihito's lost, brilliant smile.
