Eden no Uragawa

Akiba, an up-and-coming photographer with a particular fondness for capturing boys' love subjects, owes a significant professional debt to a man named Arimura. Because Arimura has consistently provided him with work, Akiba finds it impossible to refuse when he is asked to take a young man under his wing. That young man is Ikumi, who appears to be romantically involved with the supposedly straight Arimura. Despite their intimate connection, Ikumi is left entirely in the dark regarding when Arimura might return, leaving him without any real stability or guidance. Thrust into this complicated situation, Akiba initially despairs over the troublesome arrangement he has been dragged into. He worries about the burden of caring for someone entangled in such a messy dynamic, feeling deeply stressed by the unexpected responsibility. However, as they begin living together, Ikumi’s earnest and innocent nature quickly wins him over. Rather than being a source of constant frustration, sharing a home with the young man proves to be surprisingly pleasant and comforting. What begins as a reluctant obligation gradually transforms into a dazzlingly gentle chapter of blessed days for the aspiring photographer and his freeloading companion.
