Slayers: The Book of Spells

Lina Inverse and Naga the Serpent find themselves at the center of both a sinister conspiracy and a peculiar personal challenge. They must first foil a plot to engineer the ultimate chimera, then undertake the unlikely task of transforming an effeminate nobleman's son into a man fit for appointment to the Royal Guard. As if that were not enough, the heroines also confront a renegade magic user whose enchanted mirror produces backward duplicates of his opponents—doubling the danger at every turn.
